A lakefront setting can be enjoyable for travelers with pets, but owners remain responsible for supervision around the lake, roads, wildlife, decks, and outdoor spaces. Bring the supplies your pet needs rather than assuming the property stocks them.

The Modern House accommodates up to 12 human guests and 7 vehicles; the Lake House up to 10 human guests and 5 vehicles. Standard check-in begins at 5:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Beyond confirming the fee and any breed or count restrictions, a few things make a pet-friendly stay go more smoothly: current proof of vaccination in case it's requested, your pet's own bed or blanket so the new space feels familiar, and enough food for the full stay plus a buffer day in case travel plans shift.

Because both homes sit on or near a lake, keep pets leashed and supervised near the water and on decks, and check with the host about any wildlife you should be aware of in the area, since black bears and other wildlife are present in the Pocono Mountains region.
